What could go wrong?
When Dad and the family dog, Rumble, accidentally plunge through time, eleven-year-old Marco takes charge. He, his twin brother Kahn, and their sister Esther follow them to a world they never imagined. Terrifying pterosaurs swoop and dive, dangerous dinosaurs pound the earth . . . and what about those nasty Nephilim?
After Marco is rescued by a famous person from the Bible, things really get interesting. Soon, Marco begins to wonder if they’ll make it out of the dinosaur days alive.
This delightful and action packed book teaches creation science, Biblical history, and zoology through the many adventures of Marco and Rumble.
The book is filled with illustrations of the many dinosaurs and other animals Marco encounters.
Recommended for ages 8-12
However, many of my beta readers had children as old as eighteen and as young as four that were completely captured by the story.
We did this as a read aloud for my 3 kids and the whole family enjoyed it. Later my third grader reread it on her own. I’m so thankful for fun, adventurous books that make the Bible real to our kids. And to find a fiction science book that incorporates dinosaurs from a Biblical worldview is a RARE FIND!
I will definitely buy more in this series!
I can’t praise this book enough! We have been reading it as a read aloud and it is so good! My kids beg to read it at night! The story is so well written and fun! I love how all the factual information is thrown throughout all the pages. I’ve learned more from this book in the few short days that we’ve been reading it then I did throughout actual school! Such neat facts too! I cannot recommend this book enough! We can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out!
My son absolutely loved this book! He did not put it down for 2 days! It’s modern fiction that beats all the “twaddle” currently being written for kids. Highly recommend!
Jeannie Fulbright, beloved author of many elementary science courses, has branched out into historical fiction. She was kind enough to send me an advance copy of this fun book, which is hopefully the start of a series following a boy, his dog, and their adventures with a time machine. It's a great read, and the main character the boy meets in this time-travel adventure is a wonderful surprise. I heartily recommend this book for readers of all ages!
